The SpeedCam Megavis HD and Megavis HD+ both provide superbly contrasting images at the highest levels of photosensitivity, and are particularly suitable for use as surveillance cameras in test centres. The classic HD model is capable of recording up to 1,300 frames per second at maximum resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels). The HD+ model with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,440 pixels is available for those users who prefer an aspect ratio of 4:3. The Mini cameras from High Speed Vision are amongst the smallest and lightest cameras available on the market today, and are particularly suitable for mounting into vehicles where the space available is limited. The cameras are available with a 1.3 or 3 megapixel sensor; the 1.3 megapixel camera providing a resolution of 1,008 x 634 pixels at 1,000 frames per second, and the 3 megapixel camera a resolution of 1,472 x 1,036 pixels. Both cameras allow the picture format to be freely selected. A special feature of both models is their respective sensors’ patented Dual Slope technology.
This technology considerably reduces blooming of the image, which occurs when an airbag opens - structures in the airbag become visible again. Similar to the Linkbox, the Mini cameras are supplied with all signals, voltage and Gigabit Ethernet by one central Lemosa plug. Sophisticated heat management means that both cameras can be operated without any active cooling being necessary. Both sensor options are also available for the larger MacroVis and MiniVis EoSens camera models, whereby the difference to the Mini cameras lies in the higher memory capacity and an integrated rechargeable battery. This rechargeable battery enables entirely stand-alone camera operation for up to one hour, and when in standby mode enables backup of the image memory for up to 24 hours.
